Job Description:

Assisting the accountant and be responsible for the following duties
  • Prepare payment for approval and performing monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Handle AP, AR, credit control and billings.
  • Process invoices, journal vouchers, reconciliation, schedules and reports.
  • Assist in cash monitoring and preparation of funds statements.
  • Close accounts and prepare schedule for year end basis.
  • Prepare submission of invoices to bank for factoring purposes.
  • Other adhoc duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:
  • Min GCE “O” level with accounting background.
  • Numerate.
  • Able to work under pressure and minimum supervision.
  • Only Singaporean / SPR / Malaysian need to apply.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin AND English / Bahasa Melayu.

ASSISTANT MANAGER - ACCOUNTING - Kuraray Asia Pacific Pte Ltd

Kuraray Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is a premier manufacturer and supplier of POVAL range of specialty chemicals for industrial needs. As Kuraray’s Group operational hub in the Asia Pacific region, we are engaged in the sales and marketing of specialized chemicals and polymer needs in the region.



The Assistant Manager, Accounting reports to the Senior Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in management and financial reporting, fixed assets and inventory management, GST, corporate tax and budgeting
  • Monitor production cost
  • Prepare and analyze monthly and quarter reports and variances.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance and accounting standards
  • Co-manage a team of accounting staff

Requirements:
  • Diploma / ACCA / Accounting Degree
  • Minimum 5 years experience in financial reporting and management accounting in a manufacturing and/or sales environment at a supervisory level
  • Incumbent is required to work in our sales office in town and manufacturing plant in Jurong Island.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Only Singaporeans or Malaysian PRs
