Overview of treasury, accounts payable and account receivable function.

1) Account Receivable
  • Review and processes customer billing for equipments and spare parts, ensure revenue recognition are posted.
  • Supervise credit collection and litigation
  • Monitor daily trade finance LC,BL, PN together deal with bank, coordinate with customers to facilitate company operation.
2) Account Payable
  • Review and processes account payable together with payments check and ensure that all payments are proper controlled.
3) Inventory & Tax
  • Inventory Accounting, ensure the balance are reconcile and analysis the variance.
  • Review and ensure VAT and withholding tax are file to revenue department on a timely manner.
  • Implementing process improvements to ensure cost recording accuracy.
  • Ensuring that all accounting practices adhere to the company's standards and government regulations.
  • Coordinating with internal and external parties regarding accounting information.


4) General Ledger accounting
  • Responsible for complex accounting activities relating to project sale, spare part sale of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resultant reports and financial statements.
  • Provide both group reporting and local management with timely and effective management accounts
  • Manage fixed assets registration and control
  • Manage inter-company transactions
  • Ensure GL accounts reconciliation and tax compliance
  • Prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement
Qualifications:-
  • Male or female, aged over 30 years old.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Accounting.
  • 5-7 years related working experience in AR for AR Position and Full set of Account in Senior Accountant
  • Results-oriented, well organized and proactive
  • Good command of written and spoken English is a must
  • Knowledge of SAP program is preferable

Job Description
Our client is a large US multinational in the technology space. Due to expanding business needs, they are seeking an Accountant to manage the monthly sales incentives for the region. This is a newly created position and the successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller

Roles/Responsibilities
  • Oversee monthly sales commissions accrual for the APAC region
  • Process monthly sales claims in compliance with Sales Incentive Plan (SIP)
  • Liaise with the respective country sales accountants or US HQ on matters relating to sales incentives
  • Responsible for compliance and documentation.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the sales data.
  • Maintain policies, procedures and controls for incentives and ensure that they are updated on a timely basis.
  • Track commission plans and bonus programs, as well as maintain a running monthly commissions database.
  • Responsible for applying the compensation guidelines to the sales data and analyzing the sales incentive statements and/or reports including review Territory’s Revenue’s reports
  • Provides ad-hoc compensation and commission analysis, modeling of proposed compensation plans and reporting as required
  • Drive process improvements within commissions processing
  • Manage all communication related to sales calculations and sales bonus including handling queries by sales personnel on payments
  • Any other ad hoc projects as assigned


Skills/Experience
  • MUST HAVE prior experience in the management and calculation of sales incentives
  • Prior experience in the IT industry is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of salesforce.com or Oracle
  • Advanced Excel skills (lookups, charts and pivot tables)
  • Prior data mining and analysis experience
