You will oversee the accounting activities of all our regional presence including budgeting, maintenance of general ledger, preparation of financial statements, provide financial support and expertise to enable Group Director to make optimal operational decisions.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all accounting data
  • Cashflow management and projection
  • Prepare and analyse monthly management reports and higlight variances to management
  • Formulate, review and implement financial policies and processes.
  • Improve operational controls, systems and process
  • Liase with internal and external auditors
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and procedures

Requirements
  • Degree in accounting, ACCA or equivalent
  • 3-5 year experience with experience in auditing

  • Ensure full sets of accounts are properly maintained and internal control procedures are carried out effectively.
  • Able to prepare group consolidation accounts.
  • Be a business partner to management level on all corporate matters.

  • Initiate process improvements in operational and financial performance.

Requirements:
  • Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy & Finance and / or qualified CPA.
  • 5 – 8 years of relevant financial experience.
  • Experience in Manufacturing or Retail industry is preferred.
  • Good understanding of accounting standards, experience in corporate tax planning and other accounting related activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent business acumen.
  • Able to deal with people at all levels.

Accounts Manager

Responsibilities :

  • Perform full spectrum of financial accounting functions with focus on control and financial analysis and handling full sets of accounts
  • Ensure that the daily operations function of accounts department runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and company policies in areas of accounting and taxation
  • On going liaison with auditors, tax agents, solicitors, bankers, company secretary and related professionals on financial, accounting and tax related matters
  • Ensure that systems effectively and accurately report financial results.
  • Providing financial expertise, insights and recommendations on financial matters
  • Monitoring of financial planning, budgetary control, manage the cash flow, working capital of the company and staff supervision
  • Participating in ad-hoc analysis/ special projects

Requirements :

  • ACCA or other professional accounting qualifications. Finalists are encouraged to apply
  • At least 5 years working experience in manufacturing sector
  • If with audit firm experience would be an added advantage
  • In dept knowledge of accounting standards, taxation and other regulatory financial reporting requirements
  • Experienced in managing all levels of employees from diverse cultural background with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • High integrity, meticulous, self motivated and performance driven
  • Ability to start at short notice is preferred
