Job Description
Our client is a large US multinational in the technology space. Due to expanding business needs, they are seeking an Accountant to manage the monthly sales incentives for the region. This is a newly created position and the successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller

Roles/Responsibilities
  • Oversee monthly sales commissions accrual for the APAC region
  • Process monthly sales claims in compliance with Sales Incentive Plan (SIP)
  • Liaise with the respective country sales accountants or US HQ on matters relating to sales incentives
  • Responsible for compliance and documentation.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the sales data.
  • Maintain policies, procedures and controls for incentives and ensure that they are updated on a timely basis.
  • Track commission plans and bonus programs, as well as maintain a running monthly commissions database.
  • Responsible for applying the compensation guidelines to the sales data and analyzing the sales incentive statements and/or reports including review Territory’s Revenue’s reports
  • Provides ad-hoc compensation and commission analysis, modeling of proposed compensation plans and reporting as required
  • Drive process improvements within commissions processing
  • Manage all communication related to sales calculations and sales bonus including handling queries by sales personnel on payments
  • Any other ad hoc projects as assigned


Skills/Experience
  • MUST HAVE prior experience in the management and calculation of sales incentives
  • Prior experience in the IT industry is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of salesforce.com or Oracle
  • Advanced Excel skills (lookups, charts and pivot tables)
  • Prior data mining and analysis experience
