STUDENT EDUCATION & TRAINING



The Administrative Officer will assist the Manager, Student Education and Training in all matters pertaining to the implementation of Practical Experience Framework (PEF). The PEF provides guidelines for the Institute's registered students the attainment of practical experience for membership admission purpose. Students are required to be trained under the Institute's Authorized Employer (AE) or Authorized Supervisor (AS) complying with the PEF requirements.

The Institute has developed enhancement programme for the AE/AS to support them in providing structured training to the students. The Administrative Officer will assist in the implementation of AE Enhancement Programme

Reporting to the Manager, the candidate's key responsibilities will include:

➣ Assisting in the implementation and promotion of the PEF for membership admission;

➣ Assisting in reviewing and updating PEF policy file and AE/AS information;

➣ Assisting in developing and reviewing the enhancement programme under the PEF;

➣ Supporting visits to employers and superviors under the AE/AS scheme;

➣ Conducting information sessions for members/students;

➣ Vetting relevant examination entries;

➣ Handling enquiries pertaining to the practical experience requirements and examination matters;

➣ Supervising junior staff; and

➣ Performing any other duties as directed by supervisors as and when necessary.

To qualify, the candidates should possess the following attributes:

➣ University graduate

➣ At least five years’ administrative experience, preferably from tertiary educational institutions, professional bodies

or public organizations

➣ Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua; and

➣ Strong administrative abilities, computer literacy and interpersonal skills
