Our client, a US Fortune 500 company, is a global leader in the industrial sector. Strong performance and continued expansion in the Asia Pacific region have resulted in new opportunities within the company, including the need to appoint a seasoned finance professional to support their business growth.
Reporting directly to the Regional Financial Director, the role requires hands on management and financial accounting responsibilities (budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for APAC and Regional HQ), to lead and support the development of the information system, to assume an assisting role in the internal audit and SOX compliance, as well as to contribute to high-level strategic analysis, critical review of business including policies and operation procedures and to be able to identify opportunities to improve the profitability of the region.
Qualifications:
- University degree in accounting or finance-related discipline.
- Qualified accountant with a minimum of 7 years progressive experience gained in a multinational corporation. Prior regional exposure is highly preferred.
- Able to communicate and liaise effectively with internal, external and overseas parties at all levels
- Self motivated, hands on approach equipped with strong analytical skills
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is a prerequisite.
- SOX compliance experience a bonus.
