Client Description
Our client is a sizable and leading company in Hong Kong specializes in the sourcing, product development and supply
chain management of apparel and home products for export to USA, Europe
and Japan. The Group has operation offices in PRC, such as Shanghai
and Beijing. In order to cope with its business needs, the Group is now inviting a well-seasoned candidate to join the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the preparation and submission of financial and management reports by PRC subsidiaries
- Oversee L/C settlement and banking facilities
- Monitor and analyze operational budgets including pricing, costs, and production efficiency
- Review operational and financial processes, identify critical issues and to report recommendations & action plan to senior management for improvement
- Set up and review the risk management framework including procedures and systems
- Ensure internal control policies are properly implemented
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:
- Degree holder with minimum 8 years of relevant experience of which at least 5 years from sizable/MNC companies with international trading experience
- Familiar with PRC accounting standards, tax systems will be an added advantage
- Mature, analytical, observant, self-motivated with positive attitude
- Excellent command in spoken & written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
