Responsibilities :
- Responsible for updating all accounting data
- Responsible for preparing monthly management reports to immediate superior.
- Responsible for preparing and processing purchase orders, invoices, cheque requests, manual cheques and contract payments.
- To ensure purchase orders, receiving and invoices are matched
- Close accounts for month-end, quarter-end and year end
- Assist in annual financial audit
- Liaise with auditor and tax agent.
- Support and implement new system, new procedures & policies to ensure timely reporting and compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards.
- Handle any ad-hoc report assign by management on timely basis.
- Assist in special projects as necessary
- Other tasks assign by Management or immediate supervisor
Requirements :
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, or Professional Degree in Accountancy, LCCI, ACCA or equivalent.
- Candidate must be able to do full sets of account.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Able to cope with high learning curve.
- Highly analytical and able to think outside the box.
- Works well, both independently & with teams.
- Patience and can be groomed for higher level position.
- Must have good understanding of business, financial and management accounting, internal control, reporting
- Knowledge and experience in the areas of budgeting, financial analysis and taxation will be an added advantage.
