Tax Reporting Specialist & Special Projects

Key Job Functions :
Manage all tax reporting and compliance

Coordinate with external CPA firms
Filing of annual corporate tax return and half-year estimate
Withholding tax
VAT reporting

Accounting for BOI

Preparing applications
Summarizing monthly activity
Providing strategic advice to management
Monitoring compliance

Provide information to corporate office for Effective Tax Rate calculations
Manage other special projects in the Accounting area. Develop project plans and drive to conclusion.
Identify business or operational issues that affect the company and recommend ways of improving the existing system and processes.
Coordinate with General Ledger to ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance with internal policies and Thai law.
Identify business or operational issues that affect the company and recommend ways of improving the existing system and processes.
Prepare audit schedules and resolve audit issues identified by external auditors
Special Projects as assigned.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a related position.
Experience with BOI and Tax reporting are required.
Familiarity with multinational manufacturing environment is an advantage.
Good computer literacy
Good command of English
Strong in accounting processes and standards
Oracle knowledge and experience are an advantage
Strong analytical skills
Good interpersonal skills

Accounting Supervisor

This position will report to Accounting Manager and supervise a team of junior and senior accountants.

Role Description :

Handle month end accounting close
Assist in implementing IFRS in accordance with SET requirements
Supervise the team for AP, GL, Tax.
Prepare data for audit package for quarterly financial statement audit
Prepare data for tax calculation and BOI audit
Ensure accuracy of VAT report and tax
Prepare report package to parent company

Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accountancy
Excellent command of English
Minimum 7 years’ experience in the similar role, preferable from FMCG business
Experience in IFRS is a plus
Experience in working with JD Edwards is a plus
Strong leadership and team development skill

Overview of treasury, accounts payable and account receivable function.

1) Account Receivable

Review and processes customer billing for equipments and spare parts, ensure revenue recognition are posted.
Supervise credit collection and litigation
Monitor daily trade finance LC,BL, PN together deal with bank, coordinate with customers to facilitate company operation.

2) Account Payable

Review and processes account payable together with payments check and ensure that all payments are proper controlled.

3) Inventory & Tax

Inventory Accounting, ensure the balance are reconcile and analysis the variance.
Review and ensure VAT and withholding tax are file to revenue department on a timely manner.
Implementing process improvements to ensure cost recording accuracy.

4) General Ledger accounting

Responsible for complex accounting activities relating to project sale, spare part sale of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resultant reports and financial statements.
Provide both group reporting and local management with timely and effective management accounts
Manage fixed assets registration and control
Manage inter-company transactions
Ensure GL accounts reconciliation and tax compliance
Prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement

Qualifications:-

Male or female, aged over 30 years old.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Accounting.
5-7 years related working experience in AR for AR Position and Full set of Account in Senior Accountant
Results-oriented, well organized and proactive
Good command of written and spoken English is a must
Knowledge of SAP program is preferable
